All businesses dream of the day where they don't have to look for new clients and customers because they have too much work to keep up with. But for some reason, it's never good enough! As a business owner, we always want more and more people to know who we are and what we do. The more people that know about your business, the more credibility that business generates . What if there was a way to not only get paid to advertise for a company but also let the company get paid to advertise for you. I may have found just the thing....
Not to long ago a good friend of mine called me with this new idea that is blazing across the internet and is ranked in the category of one of the most effective potential businesses of 2011. Ever heard of Groupons? The concept is genius and it is allowing millions of people to market in a very unique and addicting way. Groupon is a site that does "a new deal of the day" where local businesses are contacted to put their extreme savings deal up for a day. Where they really hit big was when they started to pay users to refer those deals to their friends. I believe it is $10 for every friend that purchases the deal that you referred them to. Pretty smart move considering how easy it is these days to post your deal on your Facebook and watch it reach a thousand people in one hour. If you are not aware, Google was just offered a $6 BILLON dollar buy-out, which they cleverly turned down knowing that they had just changed internet marketing forever. The only problem with Groupon is that you are only allowed to make the $10 once even though the company is swimming in the mass profits! Another, almost identical to Groupons is livingsocial.com. both sites provide excellent deals and are very user friendly.
Anyways, the one time payout on a referral sort of bugged me, which is why these next ones are my favorites. The first site is called Moolala.com and not only will pay you for as many referrals as you get but you will earn 2% on all sales 5 referral lines down from you. So basically when someone you invite buys one of the deals (no matter how many for the rest of your life) Moolala will pay out 2% and 2% on all deals from their friends, and their friends and their friends...5 levels down. So if you think that sounds good, check out this next one.
I came across this new site from a friend who does some pretty big investing in new companies and it is very similar to all the others except for a few things. The site is called The Customer Advantage and is in its "pre-launch" phase at the moment. What that means is that people and businesses are trying to get as many people referred to the company as possible so that when it opens up there will be a great foundation for this to go viral. What they do here is instead of keeping the 50% they make on their marketing like the other sites, they share it all with its members! they pay out 5% on any referral who buys a deal also 5 levels down. The best part about it is that it is completely free! The site is by invitation only so no one can just go and sign up. I'll provide my link so anyone can use it to get going. I really love the concept of this program because it doesn't stop at 5%. If you were to get a business signed up, for example, you would receive an extra 2% bonus for all customers that came to that business! thats a 7% payout for generating referrals and advertisements. Do the math, it is pretty amazing. use this link for an example of the insane payout- http://viralcalculator.com/. It is a win for the companies being advertised times 2 (because don't forget they are generating many referrals themselves and receive that income), it is a double win as well for us (because we get the deals and make money when our friends buy them too) and the website make their money with the millions of members they will produce. EVERYONE WINS!
Here are my links to all of the sites discussed, feel free to plug them in your URL and test them all out. Remember they are all free and you have nothing to lose except missing out on a sweat deal! let me know if you have questions or any additional companies that follow the model, i would love to hear about them.
